This mesh tube can replace 300B-XLS in applications where the plate dissipation does not exceed 42 Watt.

Also it replaces the 300BM tube in any application.

Due to (sometimes) higher noise floor with mesh tubes in general. we do not recommend this tube for head-phone or pre amplifiers.
