This mesh tube can replace 300B-XLS in all applications, as long as plate dissipation does not exceed 42 Watt.

Also it replaces the 300BM tube.

Due to (sometimes) higher noise floor, in general we do not recommend mesh tubes for head-phone or pre amplifiers.
